Terrigal Wamberal Sharks Seniors

Terrigal Wamberal Rugby League Football Club (TWRLFC) is a club that prides itself on the retention of local juniors and the ability to develop these players into top level footballers, who will hopefully progress on to the game's biggest stage - the National Rugby League.

Some former Terrigal Sharks include Glenn Morrison (Balmain, North Sydney, North Queeensland, Parramatta, Bradford) and Tim Moltzen (Wests Tigers).

With the home ground located only a short distance from the heart of Terrigal, the club regularly attracts large attendances to home games.

This has been a trend that has continued over the club’s 30-year history.

Terrigal has experienced many great seasons in the local competition with the ultimate coming in 1986 where the club took out the first grade premiership.

Over the years, there have been a number of players awarded the Sterland Medal for the competitions Best and Fairest, the 2003 and 2004 Central Coast Leagues Club medal along with several Country selections.

A new level of coaching and administration has helped the Sharks over the last 5 years be very competitive and 2006 did shape up to be an exciting season after the club won its first ever Club Championship in 2005, to be followed up with premiership success in the 19′s and Reserve Grade teams during the 2006 season.
